Exclusive news about the latest Riverdale book!

Hello!

Just a short missive from Wills HQ today with the very latest news on The Secret of Witch Cottage, the fifth book in the Riverdale Pony Stories. Firstly I can exclusively reveal the long-awaited (by me, anyway) cover. And here it is!

The designer is none other than my husband and fellow author Adrian (he of the Tom Blake thriller fame). Who knew he had such a flair for cover design when we met all those years ago...

The other piece of news is the e-book is available for pre-order now with a publication date of TUESDAY 26 JULY.

This is the frankly terrifying bit, when the words you have sweated over for months are finally unleashed on the world. I think it's probably true that most authors are wracked with self-doubt and suffice to say I'm no exception...

In other news, the Finnish translation of Juno's Foal arrived in the post a whole six months earlier than I was expecting it to be published, which was a lovely surprise.

And in the midst of editing, formatting and blurb-writing I managed to sneak in a trip to Wimbledon on men's quarter finals day. It was a brilliant day, the highlight of which was seeing Andy Murray beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga on Centre Court. And the icing on the cake? Andy signing my ticket. I was completely and utterly star-struck!

So that's all from me. I hope you enjoy The Secret of Witch Cottage as much as I enjoyed writing it. If I said Poppy and Cloud were as real to me as my own family, would that be weird? What I do know is that I love dreaming up new adventures for them and can't wait to make a start on Book Six.
