Win a signed paperback of Into the Storm!

Hello,

First off, I would like to thank everyone for their kind words after we lost our lovely cat, Luna. Your emails really were a comfort and I really appreciate all those who reached out.

We still miss Luna and her antics every day, but we're grateful that at least we still have Minstrel and Amber - the elderly lady and the tweenager - to keep us company...

Thank goodness the weather has finally taken a turn for the better and it actually feels like summer now. I have been trying to keep on top of the garden, and although everything is very late this year, the vegetable beds and the flowerbeds aren't looking too shabby.

At least all the weeding keeps me out of mischief!

As you know, the new-look, new edition of Into the Storm was published at the beginning of the month.

To celebrate, I'm holding a competition to win a signed paperback copy of the book, plus a dinky bookmark that's perfect for horse lovers.

For readers outside the UK there will be an ebook up for grabs.

All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is to head over to my Facebook page and comment on the competition post, which will be pinned to the top of the page.

That's it! Simples!

I'll pick a winner at random later on Sunday July 2. So good luck!

If you can't wait that long, the paperback is available now from all bookshops, including Waterstones stores. If they don't have a copy in stock, just ask, and they should be able to order you one.

The ebook and paperback are also available from Amazon here: Into the Storm.

Next week, Adrian and I are heading up to London for the Self Publishing Show’s 2023 conference for indie authors. Once again we are part of the volunteer crew and we're really looking forward to catching up with old author friends and making new ones.

At the end of next week we're off to Madeira for a week's holiday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the weather is a bit better than it was for our wet and windy break in Wales in March!

Madeira, a Portuguese island in the North Atlantic Ocean, is a new destination for us and we’re looking forward to an action-packed week of whale-watching, walking and sightseeing. I'll make sure I take lots of pictures for my next newsletter.

That's it from me for now. Happy holidays, whether you’re staying at home or venturing further afield.

And, of course, happy reading!

Amanda
