Pooh sticks, ponies and a free Riverdale adventure

Hello!

I have some rather lovely Riverdale news to share...

First of all, Saving Grace is now FREE as an ebook. Yup, completely free. No catches. Just a little Riverdale adventure for you (or the pony-mad reader in your life) to enjoy.

You can download your copy here.

I decided to make the novella free to celebrate the fact that all eleven full-length books in the series are now sporting their gorgeous new covers, beautifully designed by The Talented Mr Wills (sounds like a book title, doesn't it?!).

I'm so chuffed with them and, from the response I've had, you are too.

I've also dropped the price of the first in the series, The Lost Pony of Riverdale, to just 99p/99¢. So if you want to find out how it all began, you can check it out here.

If you prefer to binge your pony books, the box sets are looking rather fabulous too:

The ebook box sets are £6.99/$9.99, and the paperback box sets are £15.99/$16.99, which works out far cheaper than buying them individually. Happy days!

In other news, in my eternal bid to get fitter, I've been dragging our youngest son, Thomas, out on some long walks every weekend.

They've varied in length from six to ten miles and have taken us through some of the prettiest (albeit muddiest) parts of our corner of Kent.

Not only do I get to spend some quality time with Thomas, I've also made a few friends along the way.

Because I can never pass a field of horses without going over to say hello...

[And see what I mean about that mud?!]

Tomorrow, Adrian and I are off to Ashdown Forest in East Sussex for a couple of days.

If it sounds familiar, it's probably because Ashdown Forest was the original inspiration for A.A. Milne's Hundred Acre Wood in Winnie-the-Pooh.

And before you ask, we will definitely be embracing our inner children and throwing Pooh sticks from Pooh Bridge.

I'll report back on who wins.

Sometimes I think that’s why I enjoy writing the Riverdale books so much – and hopefully why you enjoy reading them.

Because no matter how old we are, there's a pony-mad child in all of us.

That's all from me for now. Enjoy Saving Grace on me if you haven't already read it, and please do tell a pony-mad friend.

Lots of love,

Amanda x
