I'm delighted to say that the new Riverdale book, Edge of Danger, is out now!
The tenth book in the series was such fun to write that if you enjoy reading it even half as much as I enjoyed writing it, I know you'll love it!
Black Beauty, probably the greatest horse book ever written, was the inspiration for Edge of Danger.
Having used that Dartmoor classic The Hound of the Baskervilles as a starting point for The Mystery of Riverdale Tor, I thought it would be fun to feature Black Beauty in the latest Riverdale book.
A television production company is on location at Claydon Manor, filming a remake of Anna Sewell's classic story.
When Poppy and Scarlett sign up as extras, the adventures begin.
There's a thief to track down and a once-in-a-lifetime chance to grab.
But Poppy soon discovers that life on a television set is not all as it seems...
Edge of Danger has all the usual ingredients you have come to expect from a Riverdale story: fun, friendship, adventure - and, of course, plenty of ponies!
Here's what my trusty team of beta readers had to say:
‘I’ve just finished it in one sitting and it’s wonderful!’
‘Just finished it and honestly they get better and better.’
‘Just finished the book and I honestly have to say, this is by far the best.’
‘I absolutely loved this, beginning to end. I barely put it down to sleep.’
Which is pretty cool!
The ebook is out now and the paperback will be out sometime next week.
