New Riverdale book - title and cover reveal!

I have some very exciting news to share today - I can finally reveal the title and cover of the new Riverdale book! And here it is...The Mystery of Riverdale Tor.

Once again the cover has been designed by my super-talented husband Adrian. I spent an enjoyable few hours scrolling through hundreds of photos of grey horses to find the perfect picture, finally settling on this one. I felt it summed up Cloud’s free spirit and beauty perfectly. What d’you think?

Last time I posted I said I was hoping for a February release. I’m afraid to report that it’s taken a little longer than I planned. Unfortunately, life has a habit of getting in the way of my writing! The book is currently with my team of trusty beta readers and once they have finished it will be proofread and formatted. I am now working towards a mid-March release date and am hoping to have the ebook and paperback released together for the first time. I will of course keep you posted on that! The Mystery of Riverdale Tor is the eighth Riverdale adventure. It's been almost a year since the last book in the series, The Hunt for the Golden Horse, was published, so we are long overdue a catch up with Poppy, Cloud and their two and four-legged friends. The book itself actually only took just over three months to write, but thinking of a plot took a little longer this time round. [More on that in a future post!] So, what's it about, I hear you ask. Well, here's the blurb...

I love all Poppy and Cloud’s escapades, but I am particularly proud of this one. It has all the ingredients of a rollicking good adventure story: a mystery hound, an evil villain, competition rivals, best friends, and – of course – plenty of ponies! I hope you will enjoy it, too!
