Another fantastic giveaway!

Hello! In my last email I promised you more chances to win lovely stuff…so here’s another giveaway! Up for grabs this time is the brand new audiobook of The Lost Pony of Riverdale, narrated by the super-talented Danielle Cohen. Danielle, who is from the UK but now lives in Vermont in the US, has done a brilliant job bringing Poppy and Cloud's story to life. Here’s an audiogram to give you a taster. It’s the spine-tingling moment Poppy sees Cloud in the Riverdale wood for the first time.

Five hours and 24 minutes long, the audiobook – worth £18 or $19.95 - is perfect for bedtime stories or to listen to in the car. All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is to head over to my Facebook page, like the page and comment on the competition post, which you’ll find pinned to the top of my feed. I will pick two winners at random – one in the UK and one outside the UK – at the end of the month. If you can’t wait that long you can check the audiobook out here:

In other news, I was absolutely over the moon when The Mystery of Riverdale Tor was given the thumbs up by LoveReading, the UK's leading book recommendation website, this week.

Here's what they had to say:

'This eighth book in the Riverdale Pony Stories series is packed with peril, mystery and high-octane action as pony-mad Poppy McKeever goes into detective mode to track down the dog that attacked the sheep on her friend’s farm, while also preparing for a big riding competition. While the writing is pacey and has an urgency to it, at times the somewhat dense descriptions could benefit from a little trimming. But, overall, this gripping, entertaining adventure rings with authentic dialogue, strong evocations of the countryside and Poppy’s indomitable spirit.'

I was delighted with it, despite my dense descriptions apparently needing a bit of a trim!!! And the cover looks pretty good with the LoveReading4Kids ‘Indie Books We Love’ sticker on, don’t you think?! If you haven't read The Mystery of Riverdale Tor yet and would like to check it out, here are the links:

Do you remember I featured a Q&A with American writer Brittney Joy, author of the Red Rock Ranch series, back in December?

Well, fans will be delighted to know that Brittney has almost finished the third book in the series, and to celebrate, the first two books have beautiful new covers.

Here’s a cover reveal for the first book, Lucy’s Chance, which is £2.35/$2.99 or FREE to read with Kindle Unlimited membership. The book tells the story of 16-year-old Lucy Rose, who is spending her first summer away from home and has two things on her mind: an abandoned, violent horse and a blue-eyed cowboy. Only neither is hers. Looks fab, doesn’t it? You can check it out here.

Anyway, that’s all from me for now. I hope you have a fantastic Easter break, and that the sun is shining wherever you are. I am looking forward to spending a few days with my family and over-indulging on chocolate. Well, it has to be done, hasn't it?! Happy reading! Amanda
