Cover reveal of the new Riverdale book

Hello! I wanted to give you an update on the new Riverdale story. Because it will be available to download VERY SOON!! I finished the first draft at the end of May and since then I have been busy editing, proofreading and formatting the manuscript. Primping and polishing until it is perfect... although I'd better let you be the judge of that! But I am very happy with Poppy's latest adventure, which sees her rescue an injured filly she finds on the moor. The book is called Saving Grace, and once again Mr Wills has put his design skills to good use. Here's the exclusive cover reveal....

What d'you reckon? Pretty good, eh?! Don't forget that this is a novella, not a full-length book, and it will be COMPLETELY FREE to anyone who signs up to my mailing list. I am very excited to share this new Riverdale story with you, and will be writing very soon to let you know how you can download your copy of the book, so keep your eyes peeled for an email from me. Here's a sneak peek at the first page. I may look as though I was sitting with my feet up having a read, but I was actually giving the formatted version a final proofread on my Kindle... honest!!

But you'll be pleased to hear it hasn't all been work, work, work. We spent last week on holiday in Dorset, staying in a very pretty thatched cottage in the tiny village of West Lulworth, a pebble's throw from Lulworth Cove. It was great to kick back and chill with my family, after what has been a busy start to the year. The Jurassic Coast is jaw-droppingly beautiful, and well worth a visit. We made the most of the sunny weather, with lots of walking, picnics and the odd game of Scrabble. Perfect!

Here I am at Durdle Door, one of the Jurassic Coast's most iconic sights: a natural arch, formed from hard limestone, that stands almost vertically out of the sea. I walked there from our holiday cottage early one morning and had the place to myself, which was bliss!
